Rednesday #2

Here's my small contribution to Rednesday this week: the windows next to our dining room table.  I do love German windows--more on them another day.

And on another topic, if you loved Toast's visit to San Miguel de Allende, you should visit with Ruche as well.

I'm facinated by windows too...I love the German Tudor windows of a Fairytale cottage. The windmill has some spectacular windows also...You've posted a good contribution to red....energy in red...good in the dining room for sure. Makes us all want a second helping! Winking!

So how do you feel about red? Are you a big fan? I'd guess so by your web design. Red is growing on me lately, but I've never been a "red" gal - I've been a "green and blue" gal. I think I've tended to gravitate to colors that looked good on. Vanity! But red is definitely growing on me. It has such pop.

That's a lovely picture of your window! The curtains look so sheer and pretty. Can't wait to learn more about German windows!
Happy REDnesday!

Vmichelle, yes, I am a big fan of red--but I never wear it! Well, I do have a pair of red Swedish clogs, but other than that... I like to use it in various ways around my house, especially in the kitchen and living room (canisters, pillows, flower pots, rugs, etc.). I love green and blue as well--we have leaf green walls in our living room now!

I love fairytale Tudor windows, too, Jacqueline! Ours are newer and a bit more modern-looking, but I do still like them; in fact, they're one of my favorite things about our German house!

Happy Rednesday to you darling, the window coverings look so classy. Sorry I have not been over for a visit, I had horrible migraines and couldn't see straight. Hope life is treating you marvellously. Take care and thanks for the visit and comment, you are sweet.

Oh, I do love German windows, too! I miss rolladen - I wish we had them here in the U.S.!

the flirting with red...gossamer against the green cactus...
perhaps the heat of the filmy red reminds them of the heat from whence their ancestors came...

Pretty! I love how in (parts of) Europe everyone seems to have brightly colored curtains and buntings in the windows.
