Just a few of our photos from a favorite neighborhood...
Either The Husband or The Girl took this one--beautiful!

pretty cool, n'est-ce pas?

wonderful little alleyway

Where "Amélie" worked--Café des Deux Moulins, on rue Lepic!

What are the chances that we were in Paris at the same time? We've been home for a week since our trip back...and boy did we do Paris differently! Love your snaps and wish to make it back for the flea markets. Wanna come?

Those tomatoes are amazing, at first glance I thought they were pumpkins. Just curious, what makes Montmartre your favorite part of Paris?

OH, yes. That face in the wall is very cool. Actually, all the images are. Now you'll have to excuse me. I'm off to watch Amelie again.

Thank you all for the kind comments!

Liza--yes, I'd love to hit the flea markets with you!!

Jennifer--we do indeed have a lot in common. I saw your mention of Liberty rain boots--I have the same pair!

Vmichelle, I just think Montmartre has a great "neighborhood" feel--not so big-city--and the streets are quite picturesque. There are many small, cute shops and restaurants.

BonjourRomance--it was a bit chilly while we were there, but otherwise, the weather was very nice!

Love the signs for the alley way! We had a drink at Amelie's cafe as well on our Amelie inspired day! Lovely photos!
