Let's Bring Back
Smart, stylish New Yorker Lesley M. M. Blume, woman-about-town and author of a handful of quirky children's books, is my new hero(ine).
Have you read her delightful compendium Let's Bring Back? If not, I'm afraid I must insist that you buy it immediately. I don't just love this book, I want to live in it! I would eat it if I could, alongside some cold berry soup and original-recipe Girl Scout Cookies. Mmmmmm....

This is so funny... I accidentally stumbled across this book last weekend and was fascinated. I wanted to buy it because I thought it would be great for brainstorming out of the box ideas for writing. I didn't buy it, but this is prodding me again!
I love this. Haven't heard about the book before but will have to check it out now! Thanks.
Newly added to my Goodreads list! Sounds awesome.
hello little sparrow!
your blog is just darling!
I enjoy your array of wonderment on display!
<3 merry christmas!
happy blogging! x x x
E., I know this book will be right up your alley!
Hmmm, how interesting. I'll have to take a look at this woman, and the book you recommended. I've been really into childrens books lately-I have a son, so I read a lot, but I'm also a writer and have been considering writing childrens books.
Great recommendation.
Also, original recipe girl scout cookies sound really intriguing.
Oh, I should have known you would know Lesley M.M. Blume. This video is charming, delightful, wonderful. I have GOT to have that book. Did you adore, "Cornelia and the Audacious Escapades of the Somerset Sisters"? Thanks for sharing this.
Relyn, I haven't read "Cornelia..." yet, but it's definitely on my amazon wish list!
I haven't heard of this so thank you for the information. I will definitely check it out.
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Hope you like it, Natasha!
