So is this how Germans really see us--crispy outside, soft inside? And excuse me, Dr. Oetker, but you and your fellow countrymen aren't exactly small, yourselves.
Bonjour, I had to laugh out loud on this one. I'm an AMerican in Paris, I didn't know you were an American too. I think they do see us this way - I confess I add to that perception because I'm a bit soft, uh hmmm! I have so enjoyed all your visits and your kind comments. Have a great day!
I used to wonder, when I was staying there, how the Germans would translate "Granny Smith" apples? Grossmutter Schmidt? But then, I saw, in the store, how they had neatly solved the problem. The apples were labeled simply "Granny Smith."
That is funny! I am an American --and watching some of these food network shows -- like Diner, dives?
The people are stuffing themselves around the country when they showcase these 'diners' it looks like they are eating a whole cow or pig at one sitting.. it is no wonder others see us this way with the media projecting this image across the world.
